INTERNET DATA SUPPORT FOR FULFULDE WIKIMEDIA COMMUNITY

The Internet Data Support Programme is an initiative designed to support Fulfulde Wikipedia editors by reimbursing their internet data expenses. This programme aims to:

• Encourage consistent contributions to Fulfulde Wikipedia
• Ensure uninterrupted access to research materials and online resources
• Foster growth and development of the Fulfulde Wikipedia community

Reimbursement Details

• Internet data bundles
• Research materials (books, articles, etc.)
• Software and tools (reference management, productivity, etc.)
• Maximum reimbursement per individual in a round: Once

Eligibility Criteria

• Active Fulfulde Wikipedia editors (at least 500 edits in the last 2 months)
• Editors contributing to Fulfulde Wikipedia articles, categories, or templates
• Editors contributing to Fulfulde Wiktionary or Wikinews
• Editors contributing to Fulfulde Wikidata or Wikimedia Commons
• Editors residing in West Africa (priority given to those in Nigeria)

Timeline

• Application window: 26/August/2024 - 31/August/2024
• Review and approval: 10 days
• Reimbursement: 2 weeks
